Hi! Welcome to our Encyclopedia of Multicade Systems.
Provided below is our information regarding the subject multicade system. It is intended for general information only.
Here is a new multicade concept for you - 40 classic arcade video games, and all played with a trackball.
What are your favorite trackball games? Centipede? Missile Command? Capcom Bowling? Golden Tee?
Well, now you no longer have to navigate through hundreds, or even thousands, of multicade game titles to find your favorite.
Because, now 40 of the greatest trackball arcade classics are all in one place - the Trackball 40 multicade.
Trackball Cabinet and Trackball -
Trackball arcade game machines were built using a larger 25" horizontal monitor cabinet (like Golden Tee), or a smaller 19.5" vertical monitor cabinet (like Centipede).
And, they used either a small 2-1/4" trackball (original with Centipede), or a large 3" trackball (original with Golden Tee).

Vertical and Horizontal Games -
The Trackball 40 system offers both the vertically displayed classics (like Centipede), and the horizontally displayed classics (like Golden Tee), all on one horizontally oriented monitor.

Game Character Movement -
A trackball moves a game character smoothly, quickly, in any direction, and can stop at any point within the game image X-Y axis grid (left-right, up-down, 360-degrees), example Centipede.
Many other games, in addition to trackball games, can be played just as well with a trackball when mimicking the left-right (X-axis) movement of a spinner (like Tempest), or joystick (like Space Invaders).
For this reason, the games list includes many of the most popular of the spinner and left-right joystick classic arcade games that can be played correctly with a trackball.
Controls -
The preferred controls to play these games would be a 3" trackball (Golden Tee), a spinner (Tempest), and three control buttons (Missile Command).
