Ace Amusements 2500-in-1 Multicade System Platform

 

 

Hi!  The 2500-in-1 multicade system platform is a marriage of a computer and a JAMMA arcade game circuit board. 

The computer provides the game data processing, and the JAMMA board provides the controls interface.  It is a sweet little marriage of hardware made in China.

 

Shown in this photo is the 2500-in-1 multicade system platform (sometimes refered to as a xxxx-in-1 system). 

The top board is the JAMMA interface, and the bottom board is the computer. 

There are many different degrees of data processing performance available.  Indeed, there are xxxx-in-1 systems with different sizes of CPUs, of memory, and of hard drives.

 

In fact, you can find so many different combinations of different sizes of CPUs, memory, and hard drives that it can become confusing.

At Ace Amusements our mission is simple - to deliver the fastest, smoothest, most authentic classic arcade gaming experience possible.

 

Consequently, we standardize the following hardware upgrades:

1.  The CPU - Intel Pentium 4 2.66 GHz 533MHz 478pin 512KB CPU.  Most all other systems come with only 2.4 GHz.

2.  The Memory - 2 GB, i.e. two sticks of 1 GB.  Most all other systems come with only one stick of 512 MB.  No other system (except ours) offers more than 1 GB memory.

3.  The Hard drive - 80, or 120, or 160 GB, plenty big enough to handle 2500 games plus any future additions, upgrades, or customizations.  Most other systems come with only 20 GB, or 40 GB.

Additionally, before we accept the hard drive for use in your system, we perform these procedures:  (a) we military grade scrub clean the hard drive, and (b) we use professional grade software to assure a 100% healthy hard drive.

4.  The EIDE drive cable - we replace the original 40-pin 40-conductor EIDE hard drive cable with a high speed 40-pin 80-conductor 2-device cable.  The result - higher data transmission speed, plus the 2-device feature will help support any future expansions.

 

The above is our standard for the data processing performance of the Ace Amusements 2500-in-1 multicade system - it delivers. 

For proof, compare our 65-second blazing fast boot time to the 4-minute-plus boot time required by all the other xxxx-in-1 systems.

  

Then, we back up our claims with the absolute best warranty anywhere - a five year full warranty on the 2500-in-1 platform, which includes parts and labor, and software and hardware.

If any problems occur, just mail the system back to us for repair.

 

And finally, our 2500-in-1 multicade cabinets come with the components necessary to protect your investment:

 

1.  Cooling fans.  An ATX power supply with built-in cooling fan(s).  And, a cooling fan for the CPU.  

These cooling fans are essential to insuring the long life of a high performance system such as our 2500-in-1.

 

2.  Our exclusively designed shock absorbing mounting shelf for the 2500-in-1 platform hard drive. 

When moving your multicade or when in transit, shock and vibration could damage the hard drive.

We have designed a special mounting shelve to guard against shock and vibration damage to the hard drive, while providing enhanced airflow for the hard drive.

 

3.  Surge protector and EMI/RFI filter. 

AC voltage spikes and surges, and EMI and RFI can damage a hard drive.

Every one of our game cabinets features a 1,200 joules spike and surge protector, with EMI and RFI filtering, and a circuit breaker.
