Hi! Welcome to our Encyclopedia of Multicade Systems.
Provided below is our information regarding the subject multicade system. It is intended for general information only.
You can think of the Horizontal Classics 138-in-1 as an upgrade to the 19-in-1, as it offers nearly all of the 19-in-1 games.
In the games list below, the * indicates the 19-in-1 games. All of the 19, except for 2 - Gradius and Ice Climber - are included.
Also, do not confuse the 138-in-1 with an earlier version, called the 128-in-1. The 128-in-1 had some problems.
The 138-in-1 operates on the Game Elf hardware platform.
And finally, note that we have not yet analyzed the controller requirements for the all of the games.
Some of the games, those with exotic controller requirements, such as with Crazy Climber, may prove to be too difficult to support with conventional panel set ups.
Note that while the original Defender and Stargate games share the same button assignment functions, in this system they have different button mapping. Thus, the button controls are different between the two games.
Freeplay navigation - selecting and starting a game:
1) Press Player-1 "C" button (third from Player-1 joystick) for operating instruction screen.
2) Press Player-1 Start button to enter a game.
3) Press Player-1 or Player-2 Start button to start a game.
4) Press Player-1 Start button for 5 seconds to exit game to return to menu screen.
