Hi! Welcome to our Encyclopedia of Multicade Systems.
Provided below is our information regarding the subject multicade system. It is intended for general information only.
The Games Family 3016-in-1 multicade games system was introduced mid 2020. It is an IDE drive system based upon the Games Family 3000 series board set hardware (shown below), which replaced the Games Family 2100 series board set.
While we have not fully tested or examined the games system, it would appear that the 3016-in-1 is feature limited compared to other systems.
For example, there is no USB trackball or USB spinner support, vertical image games are stretched to fill a widescreen monitor, no CGA (CRT) monitor support, no MP3 Jukebox, no 4-player games category, no Laser Disc games category, and no system menu shutdown.
However, the Games Family 3000 series board set hardware features modern IDE drive support and other hardware improvements. The bottom board of the board set is the motherboard. The top board is the JAMMA interface daughter board.
As any additional information about the 3015-in-1 games system becomes available, it will be posted here.
