Hi! From time to time, I have original Galaga arcade video game machines available for sale.
The prices range based upon the condition of the cabinet, the condition of the artwork, and the number and type of upgrades.
For a reasonable price, I can:
~ Make any Galaga suitable for home or commercial use.
~ Restore a Galaga to look almost like factory new.
~ Turn a Galaga into a classics playing machine.
~ Upgrade a Galaga into a technologically more modern machine.
~ And, if you own a Galaga, I can do all of the above for your machine, too.
See below for all the details.

The Classic Midway Cabinet:
All the information on this page can apply to a Galaga or other classic Midway cabinet game machine.
I can restore and upgrade any of the classic Midway cabinets.
See the photo below of a fully restored Midway Galaga cabinet. $1490.
Here is what Chris L., the new owner, had to say about his restored Galaga -
"Picked up the Galaga arcade game on Friday. Box turned out great."
Joystick Option:
A machine can be ordered with either of these joystick options -
1. New 2-way joystick with microswitches.
This is a standard installation, there is no extra charge. This joystick has been extensively tested and performs correctly at high speed play. And, it will perform trouble free for many years. However, it feels and sounds a little different than the original leaf-switch joystick.
2. Original 2-way joystick with leaf-switches.
This option costs an additional $65. The original joystick is rebuilt and the original leaf-switch contacts are cleaned and polished. However, while this joystick will provide an original play experience, the leaf-switch contacts will need cleaning and the blades will need straightening from time to time.
This was the original style joystick for Galaga, Galaxian, and Space Invaders.
Technology Upgrades:
There has been a whole lot of technological improvement since the Midway machines were built some thirty years ago. In fact, every mechanical and electronic component in those machines is obsolete by several generations.
We can provide all the latest possible upgrades.
For example, we discuss one of the mechanical upgrades above under Joystick Options.
Then, there is the monitor. We scrap those old original basically worthless CRT monitors, and replace them with modern latest technology LCD monitors with LED back lighting. It is not easy, but we have mastered the process.
We know the difficult wiring technique to eliminate the old inline power brick, too. It is not easy either, but we can install a modern arcade switching power supply to replace the potentially dangerous original inline power brick.
We know how to add plug and play capability to an original machine. With this feature, you can turn your original machine into one that can play multiple classic games.
And, the list goes on. Whatever upgrade you can imagine, we can probably install.
Spare Parts:
This year (2014), we have been in the arcade video game business for thirty years.
Over the years, I have owned, operated, repaired, restored, upgraded, and scrapped 100's, if not 1,000's, of classic Midway cabinets. If you need a spare part, I have it. Just let me know what you need.
Galaga Purchase Options:
A Galaga that has gone through my basic make ready process - new paint (no cabinet art), new T-molding, cleaning, polishing, and new control panel overlay, will look really nice and clean, have an LCD/LED monitor, and be budget priced at only $1195.
Consider this the starting machine price to which you can add all manner of restoration and upgrade.
Visit this page to get an idea of many of the possibilities.
A Galaga can be fully restored, and have the old sides, front, and control panel art removed and replaced with brand new art.
In that case, the machine would look almost like brand new, and be priced at $1490.
This is a photo of a Galaga that has been fully restored.
Here is what Bob A., the new owner, had to say about his like new Galaga -
"Game arrived intact and is now safely in it's new home. Very satisfied with the results. It is authentic, cant ask for more than that. I've been busy setting all my high scores from my high school days, lol. Thank you very much for a fine machine and the great memories it brings back. It will be a big hit in my small town."
Here is what Byron M., the new owner, had to say about his like new Galaga -
"We have received the game and are very satisfied. Thank you for doing such a nice job."
