Hi! Introducing the first of our new products for 2015 - a brand new Defender / Defender II arcade video multi game machine.

This machine is entirely brand new and can play two (not just one) of Williams' most popular classic arcade video games  - Defender and Defender II (Defender II is aka Stargate).

Unique to our machine, we offer an upgrade option which allows us to adjust the difficulty setting for each game from liberal to moderate to difficult. See section N below.

 

Below are all the details:

A.  Description -

$2295. You can start your custom machine with only a 50% deposit.

A brand new multicade styled to look almost exactly like the famous Williams' Defender of 1981.

Except, this game machine features all new cabinet and graphics, and modern hardware and electronics.

B.  Features -

Fully loaded.

B-1.  23" LCD monitor with latest IPS technology (any viewing angle) and LED backlighting (not a heavy obsolete CRT monitor or out-dated LCD).

B-2.  New commercial quality 2-way up-down red ball top micro switch joystick.

See C-5 below to upgrade to an original rebuilt leaf switch joystick.

B-3.  50 watt AC powered stereo speaker system with volume control pod and headphones jack (not just a monaural speaker).

If you request, we can install a headphones cable cabinet pass through port located above and right of front access door.

B-4.  Built-in 1,000 joules surge protector with EMI/RFI filtering and fuse (not just a power cord and fuse).

B-5.  Universal JAMMA wiring harness (allows plug-and-play of other JAMMA game boards).

B-6.  Keyed front vault door.

B-7. Base mounted poly wheels (default), or by request, steel leg levelers, or wooden pads that won't scratch floors. 

B-8.  LED marquee backlight lamp fixture (not the old hot fluorescent lamp).

B-9.  Commercial quality 16 amp arcade switching power supply.

B-10.  Commercial quality arcade style pushbuttons with commercial grade microswitches.

B-11.  Stainless steel control panel hardware (never rusts).

B-12.  Control panel overlay made of virtually indestructable polycarbonate (not of easily scratched vinyl).

B-13.  Marquee material also made of polycarbonate.

B-14.  New cabinet handmade in USA of 3/4" cabinet quality materials.

B-15.  Set up for home use freeplay.

C.  Custom Options And Upgrades -

Fully customizable. And, at no additional cost. Upgrades extra.

C-1.  Change T-molding color from black (default) to blue, or red, or yellow, or white, or chrome.

C-2.  Change joystick ball top color from red (default) to black, or pink, or green.

C-3.  Change control button colors from original arrangement (default) to any arrangement of red, or blue, or black, or white, or yellow, or green.

C-4.  Change the cabinet paint color from black (default) to any paint color you want (email a link to the color you want).

C-5.  Upgrade from new micro switch joystick to an original rebuilt leaf switch joystick - adds $75 (if available).

C-6.  Upgrade to lighted, non-functional, two-slot, coin-op door - adds $125.

C-7.  Upgrade with interchangeable second control panel to play two added games - Joust and Robotron: 2084 - adds $450.

E.  Shipping and Delivery -

Average $450 for residential curbside freight delivery to many locations in continental USA. Remote, mountainous, or congested locations are more expensive.

N.  Difficulty Adjustment -

The original Defender setting for game difficulty and for waves ranged from liberal, to moderate, to difficult. 

The factory setting for arcade use was likely for liberal or moderate. Although, at that time, the machine owner/operator may have adjusted the difficulty setting higher or lower depending on the market.

So, your recollection of game difficulty was likely of liberal difficulty, but it could have been for moderate or difficult, depending.

The default difficulty for our basic machine is around moderate. This difficulty setting for the basic game system is not adjustable.

However, we offer a game system upgrade for $300, which allows us to set your machine for liberal start and waves. Then later, if you request, we can make adjustment to greater difficulty to suit your preference.

The upgrade price of $300 includes the upgraded game system, and cost of any software difficulty adjustments and mailing.
