Hi! Welcome to our Encyclopedia of Multicade Systems.
Provided below is our information regarding the subject multicade system. It is intended for general information only.
Following are all the details about, and the game list for, the Babystar 465-in-1 vertical multicade system.
The term 'vertical classic' refers to the orientation of the monitor. Almost all of the early classics were vertical image games. A horizontal image game would be one like Street Fighter.
The 465-in-1 platform and operation is similar to the Games Family xxxx-in-1 platform. Click the link to learn more about the system.
A trackball is optional and may not be required as there are only 4 trackball games - Centipede, Millipede, Arkanoid, and Super Breakout, they are indicated with an * in the game list below.
One of the games is Pinball Action. This is a screen photo of the game's video pinball playfield. All of the fast action, sounds, and excitement of a real pinball machine are found in this game.
But, there is one thing missing - there are no pinball flipper buttons. The game is designed to use the joystick's left and right motion to actuate the left or right pinball flipper.
So, to add the feel of playing a real pinball machine, you can add flipper buttons to each side of the cabinet. Then, the pinball experience will be complete.
