Before we ship or deliver a new 2500-in-1, we put it through its paces. We rigorously test the system, the controls, and anything else that might matter. For proof of this, take a look below at our final inspection checklist.

Inspection Checklist :
_____ 1. Burn-in - minimum 2 days of continuous game play and machine operation.
_____ 2. Error message(s) - immediately at power-up and during boot-up, watch screen for any system error messages.
_____ 3. Cables - check that all cables and wiring harnesses to system platform are well seated and secured against disconnection during transit.
_____ 4. Shock absorbers - check that system platform springs are free to cushion any movement.
_____ 5. Play mode - assure that hard DIP switch #4 is in Game (play) mode (Off), not on Setting mode (On).
_____ 6. Scroll without credit - assure that hard DIP switch #1 is On to allow scrolling without having game credits.
_____ 7. Game exit - confirm game exit by pressing only the 1-player start button for 3 seconds (hard DIP #2 Off).
_____ 8. Hard DIP settings - #1-On, #2-Off, #3-Off, #4-Off.
_____ 9. Mailing box - assure that system mailing box is secured to floor of cabinet with Velcro.
_____ 10. Mailing box contents - assure that mailing box contains:
- monitor papers,
- speaker system papers,
- system operating manual,
- business card,
- keypad,
- keypad ribbon cable,
- 4-player ribbon cable, and

_____ 11. Sound clarity test - when testing game play, kill shop background noise, and listen for clean crisp game sound for several different games.
_____ 12. Speaker pod test - assure that powered stereo spearker pod (mounted to cabinet inside coin door) will adjust stereo sound properly.
_____ 13. Sound volume test - if no stereo speakers, assure that sound volume pot (mounted to cabinet inside coin door) properly adjusts cabinet speaker loudness.
_____ 14. Loudness - set sound loudness to low for Street Fighter.
_____ 15. Vertical game proportion - assure that vertical games tested are presented proportionally correct, i.e. taller than wide, not shorter than wide.
_____ 16. Standard controllers test - test Street Fighter to confirm correct button/switch responses for player-1 and player-2 8-way joysticks and 6-buttons.
_____ 17. Trackball test - test Centipede for correct 360-degree trackball movement, and test Golden Tee for smooth trackball roll-down.
_____ 18. Spinner test - test Tempest and Tron for correct spinner operation, and slow smooth spin-down.
_____ 19. Additional controls - test all additional controls, e.g. joystick with fire button, classic controls (4-way joystick and 2-buttons), 3-player controls, 4-player controls, flight stick, steering wheel and pedals, guns, track-wheel, switch-wheel, and slider for correct operation. _____ 26. MP3 Jukebox - assure that USB cable is mounted to cabinet inside front coin door, and that Jukebox is operational.
_____ 27. Surge protector - check that 2 green LEDs are illuminated.
_____ 28. Shutdown button - if installed, test that functions properly.
_____ 29. ATX power supply - assure that 2 connectors from power supply are cable tied to the matching connectors from the system platform.
_____ 30. System platform cable connectors - assure hot glue is used to secure any connectors which could vibrate loose.
_____ 31. Final system re-test -
- Shutdown system.
- Power-off machine.
- Then, power-on machine.
- Observe screen during boot-up for messages.
- Select and start one game.
- Observe monitor for correct colors, brightness, and distortion-free image.
- Assure volume slightly lower than normal.
- Assure controller operates smoothly.
- Assure game play is correct.
