Hi!  We are well aware that your Ace Amusements 2500-in-1 multicade is a big investment.  And, that you expect your investment to operate trouble-free for a very long time.

At Ace Amusements, we strive in a number of ways to make certain that your expectations are realized year after year after year.

 

Most significantly, we have designed an exclusive safety and security package to protect your 2500-in-1 system platform.  Our safety and security package is standard equipment with every 2500-in-1 multicade we build.

Shown in this photo is the 2500-in-1 system platform.  Basically, it is a dual core CPU computer with a JAMMA arcade video game interface.  The system platform is the heart and brains of your multicade.

As with any computer, it has three inherent vulnerabilities.  The system can be damaged by heat, vibration, and AC voltage fluctuations.

 

The following is our exclusive solution to protect your 2500-in-1 system against those three threats - we call it our system safety and security package. 

And, just for the record, know that no one else offers anything remotely close.

 

1.  Regarding vibration.

When we deliver or ship your multicade to you, and whenever you move or transport your multicade, the cabinet will suffer various degrees of shock and vibration which is directly transfered to the game system.  Shock and vibration are enemies of the system's mechanical hard disc drive (HDD)

Consequently, in 2017, we upgraded our system to solid state drive (SSD). An SSD has a much greater life expectancy and does not suffer the vulnerabilities of a hard disc drive (HHD).

By the way, no other xxxx-in-1 game system in the world offers solid state drive.

 

2.  Regarding heat.

While the CPU has a cooling fan, there are other components, like the ATX power supply, on the system platform that generate heat. 

Heat is the achilles heel of all electronic components.  An electronic component generates heat, and that heat eventually will compromise or destroy the component.

Consequently, we use a dual fan ATX power supply.

 

3.  Regarding AC voltage fluctuations.

AC voltage spikes and surges can slowly or instantly destroy a computer.  Even small surges when repeated over time can compromise a computer and other electronic components.

Consequently, we install a 1,000 joules surge protector (shown in photo) into every one of our multicades.

The surge protector also acts as a circuit breaker.  And, there are LED lamps that signal the status of the surge protector.  With the lamps, you can know at a glance whether your system is protected or not.

Every electronic component in the machine - the LCD/LED monitor, the ATX power supply, the LED marquee backlight, and the powered stereo speakers - all use the surge protector for their AC power source.

 

And, there you have it.  We have taken every precaution to keep your system functioning just like new for many years of service.
